His coach, Albert Rodriguez, otherwise known as Coach Betz, says, “I choose Stark for fulfilling his role as a captain by being a true leader in and out of the field. He has a great work ethic and is always ready to put work in. His attitude and determination definitely motivate his teammates to keep pushing through any situation.”
Vuksic attended every single game this season and only sat out once for about 10 seconds because he got a yellow card. He plays right center back. Vuksic said, ” The biggest challenge I had to overcome was losing players and having to adapt to playing without them.”
Boys Soccer has an overall 3-14-2 record. As his coach said, even when Xavier Boys are losing, Vuksic pulls through as captain and motivates his teammates to do their best. Stark Vuksic used his leadership skills and athletic abilities as he led his team to victory in their recent big 3-1 win against the La Quinta Blackhawks. He is truly a great example and role model to all Xavier athletes.

Junior, John Vuksic, more commonly known as Stark is one of Boys Soccer Varsity captains. He is a great leader and shows it on and off the field.
